Indian Rosewood is hardwood which has been used over the years for making fine furniture. From the Indian continent, Rosewood is becoming difficult to source because of it’s protected status and is fairly expensive to but.
My wands have been hand carved using a knife in the traditional way. You will see the cuts in the wand and this is because no sandpaper has been used.
The wands are then finished in several coatings of water based varnish which gives a waterproof coating, suitable for outdoor use.
